What to Expect
Initial appointments commonly last 1 hour. This is a time for Dr. Young to meet with parents or guardians to listen to their concerns or desires for the child.
During this time we will review parents observations, concerns, hopes or desires for the child. A detailed medical and developmental history of the child will be taken. This will include their physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth.
Treatment
Treatment available in house as well as appropriate referrals to auxiliary services when needed. Referrals to developmental pediatrician, occupational and speech therapy, counseling, as well as psychiatry if needed.
Medication
In the event that additional medications may be needed, Dr. Young is a fully listened medical Doctor, and can prescribe necessary medication, as well as assist families in finding specialists.
